Belonging is Good Business

The National Association of Insurance Women (International) is an association of insurance professionals dedicated to development of leaders in the insurance industry. Nearly 13,000 members belong to local associations across the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. The San Diego Insurance Women Chapter of NAIW is a group that includes insurance company personnel, retail and wholesale brokers, attorneys, claims personnel, surety professionals, accountants, educators and insurance service employees and owners, all committed to education and professional development. The association is open to anyone in the industry and provides mentors and role models, practical tools and information needed to succeed and the motivation and support to accomplish your goals.

Our local association was initially formed in 1936 as the "San Diego Insurance Gals". We affiliated with the National Association of Insurance Women in June 1949. Dinner meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month, except for months with special events or holidays that conflict.
